Job Description: 

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving global sales efforts with a focus on omni-channel outreach, account-based sales (ABS), and 3rd-party integrations. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals independently. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead omni-channel outreach initiatives for outbound sales, utilizing a variety of platforms and techniques to generate leads. 

  • Drive Account-Based Sales (ABS) to secure business from targeted key accounts, focusing on tailored solutions. 

  • Nurture and manage client relationships, independently closing deals to meet sales targets. 

  • Collaborate on 3rd-party integrations for custom e-commerce web and mobile applications, ensuring seamless integration for clients. 

  • Identify and act on emerging trends within the global e-commerce industry, providing clients with up-to-date innovative solutions. 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the e-commerce web and mobile sectors globally, including enterprise-level clients and strategic partnerships. 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on driving revenue growth, market expansion, and achieving global sales targets. 

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders globally to drive growth. 

  • Conduct market research to understand trends, competition, and customer demands in different global regions and leverage insights to guide business strategies. 

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals, ensuring a consultative and client-centric approach. 

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, tracking performance metrics, and reporting on global sales performance regularly. 

  • Participate in global trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to promote the company’s offerings and build a strong international presence. 

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies in the e-commerce space, digital payment systems, mobile platforms, and market shifts that could impact client needs or opportunities. 

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, within the B2B technology and analytics sector. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus. 

  • Proven track record in business development and global sales, especially within e-commerce, web, and mobile industries. 

  • Expertise in omni-channel sales, ABS, and the ability to independently nurture and close deals. 

  • Strong understanding of 3rd-party integration and custom e-commerce web and mobile applications. 

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platform tech stacks (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce) and experience with platform integrations, APIs, and customization to meet client-specific requirements. 

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams. 

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with an international focus. 

  • Proven track record of success in business development and global sales, particularly in e-commerce, web, and mobile industries. 

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, mobile applications, and digital payment systems. 

  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with experience building relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers globally. 

  • Experience working with diverse international markets and an understanding of cultural nuances in business dealings. 

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to assess market conditions, competitive landscape, and client needs. 

  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

  • Ability to travel internationally for client meetings, trade shows, and conferences as required. 

  • Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous.
